Webinar "Opportunities for cooperation in the field of alternative energy between Ukraine and the United Kingdom"
November 14, 2014 a webinar on "Cooperation in alternative energy between Ukraine and the United Kingdom" took place. The event was held in projects "Alternative energy, education and science" and "Assessment of the environmental impact of product and use of unconventional hydrocarbons", funded by the British Council. The event was organized by the School of Ecology, Department of Chemistry and Department of Geology, Geography, recreation and tourism of V. N. Karazin Kharkiv National University.
In the webinar was attended not only by project partners, but also by specialists in alternative energy of leading universities and research organizations of Kharkiv, Shell company and National Contact Point of HORIZON 2020 program (section "Energy"). The total number of participants was 37 people.
The event format allowed to have online communication with representatives of Keele University, Durham University (UK) and the British Council. This approach has provided an effective exchange of information on projects done in organizations, experience that partners gained, allowed to initiate a fruitful discussion and to identify ways for further cooperation.
